Bio: The Foster Portfolio began with guitarist/song writer Jacob Fidler and singer James Barclay, both of whom were members of A Lovely Revenge. Jacob and James would be the only two permenant members for almost a year as a rotating door of drummers, guitarists, and bassists came and went. The two finally found a solid fit for a second guitarist in long time friend Mike Robertson. When asked about a bassist, Mike reccomended Donnie Prather, who he hadn't met, but knew through mutual aquaintances. Donnie agreed to "fill-in" for a show, but later decided to join permenantly after hearing the songs and quickly becoming good friends with the other members. The line-up was finally completed with the addition of drummer Greg Hill whose style and direction fit perfectly with the band.
The Foster Portfolio are as popular as a winters night in Alaska for a homeless man with no winter coat whos family died in a car accident because he was a bitter old drunk and drove very carelessly.
The Foster Portfolio sound like a man pouring his heart out and screaming his inner most feelings as hard as he can, only he is alone in his bedroom(that he hasn't left in five days) and no one can hear him, even if they did they could only care less if they had ignored it completely.
